Unraveling knots

I found the photo of the knot a while ago, but don’t remember where. It was the first thing that sprang to mind when the conversation below came through during my channeling session on April 30.

“There are many times when people run away from expressing their needs and concerns openly and honestly. This is not to say that doing so is cowardly. It might very well be that expressing one’s needs and concerns continually fell on deaf ears—or a deaf heart. There are none so blind that choose not to look and none so hearing impaired that they refuse to listen. It matters little what was said or done in the past if desires for change are not addressed head-on. We care very much about how people self-review. The filters that most people adopt tend to be clogged with misperceptions that others have instilled. In order for the heart to be seen as well as heard, the soul needs to be the one that steps in and replaces the ego’s desires to ‘fix’ things, for lack of a better term. Remediation is important. Reclamation is also important. Finally, redirection can be said to be a third step. Remediate, reclaim, redirect. Those three steps can change an entire life, as long as those who witness these steps trust that focusing their intentions internally first will help to remediate, reclaim, and redirect the ego to be in more harmonious alignment with the soul to begin with. It is in stating it in this manner that the ego can also choose to begin with a cleaner slate. I hope this is helpful.”

“It is, Maitreya. Thank you,” I thought to myself.

“De nada, as you often say. The pleasure is indeed mine and, in deed, one that you can bring forward with you.”

“It is.”

“And so it is,” he replied.

“Why do I even bother?” the cynic cried out.

“Because the journey is about unravelling wounds and learning how to heal them,” a voice whispered in return.

“Why are you talking to me?”

“You asked a question. I’m merely answering.”

The cynic was silent for a few moments and began feeling angry and discouraged that the voice hadn’t whispered anything further.

“Why are you ignoring me?” asked the cynic.

“I’m waiting,” the voice answered.

“What are you waiting for?”

“You do know that I could ask you the same question, don’t you?”

“What’s your point?”

“The same comment applies.”

The cynic sensed the voice’s humour and chuckled.

“Very good,” the voice remarked.

“I didn’t do anything,” replied the cynic.

“Yes, you did,” said the voice. “You’ve admitted your discomfort, veiled beneath a layer of frustration and disappointment, so I silently urged you to look beneath it. Before long, you realized that laughter lay underneath, waiting to be released. The same held true for the young girl, once the woman started to listen to her inner voice. Freedom, they say, is its own reward.”

“So, you’re telling me that honestly displaying my frustrations and disappointments will actually help me to be liberated from them?”

“It’s not illogical, is it?” inquired the voice.

The cynic smiled and looked down toward his chest. “What are you waiting for?” he asked himself. Images flashed before his third eye and a single song could be heard.

“What did you hear?”

“I’ll bet you know,” said the cynic.

“I do, but I want you to tell me.”

“I heard the song, ‘Return to Innocence,’ by Enigma.”

“That song was heard by the woman multiple times when her heart called her to Tulum a number of years ago. Everything changed after that.”

“No stone was left unturned and no turn was left unstoned, from what I observed,” whined the cynic, scowling.

“It was not the intention of past so-called failures in love to create pain or discomfort—only to show the areas where the woman’s heart was blocked from being further liberated. You understand this now. The rest, as they say, is history.”

“Actually, I said that the rest was ‘her story,’” corrected the fool, joining the cynic.

“You can hear the voice, too?” the cynic asked the fool.

“We’ve heard everything,” the young girl said, accompanying them.

“So have I,” the voice said.

“Are you God?” the cynic asked.

“The Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine are united as One, so I guess you could say that I am ‘God,’ although the Oneness of All That Is might be a bit more appropriate. Just ask Neale Donald Walsch. We’ve spoken a number of times, and we are able to individuate ourselves when a more masculine force is required, just as we do when a more feminine force is similarly needed.”

“I wish more men would awaken,” the prostitute said sullenly.

“They are,” the nun remarked.

“Over time, everyone will learn to rebalance their inner polarities,” the voice continued. “Just as the woman and the young girl have become allies, so do darkness and light work together to express their true nature in cooperation with each other. This is the way the Universe has always worked; it is only mankind—or ‘humankind,’ if you prefer—who chooses to mask the true nature of their respective Higher Selves, which form part of the Oneness of All That Is. You were created in the same image and likeness. Some carry more darkness and others carry more light, the same way that some are more masculine than feminine, regardless of whether they are male or female. Together, the rebalancing that is often needed within is carefully being played out within the world. It is ludicrous to believe humanity has ever been abandoned by God. It is when people embrace the totality of who they are within that they begin to understand the reason for everything. So I suppose, yes, there is a reason why you could say that no turn has been left unstoned and no stone has been left unturned. Use caution while creating walls for others to climb over, for you are unwittingly setting yourself up for repeated disappointments.”

The voice remained silent and the fool nodded his head.

“What are you hearing now?” inquired the cynic.

“Nothing. Just the soul’s silence. The woman once said, ‘Only in silence will man hear the echo of his heart’s longing.’ I believe her.”

“Why would you place blind faith into someone who isn’t even remotely religious?”

“The soul has no religion,” the nun calmly stated and the prostitute concurred.

“And so it is,” the voice said.

As the woman observed them, she recalled the first words that Maitreya spoke through a trance channel medium the year before Melchizedek intervened: “You haven’t learned the lessons you came here to learn. You can either choose to repeat them or move on.”

“Thank you for being so patient with me, Maitreya,” said the woman.

“You’re welcome, my friend. There is something I need you to do for me, please.”

“Anything. Just ask.”

“Continue writing down the words you’ve been given, even if they don’t make sense to you at first. Things often come together in the end. How long has it been since you felt laughter inside your heart?”

“I don’t understand.”

“Then perhaps it’s time for you to meet others who will help you to embrace that more fully. Embrace the lessons these encounters teach you and remember that the ocean ebbs and flows, just as the soul’s ocean will continue to do.”

“I will,” the woman said.

“Very good,” Maitreya stated, handing her a single rock.

“What am I supposed to do with this?”

“Throw it. Trust me.”

The woman stood and threw the rock as hard as she could into the water. There was a brief splash and the woman felt a sense of calmness inside that had been eluding her.

“The man you briefly dated last year touched a place within you that encouraged you to express yourself without feeling the need to filter your words.”

“I started to filter myself after a while,” she said.

“That was only because you sensed him pulling away and you wanted him to stay. We told you he was meant to meet someone else at the very outset, but it was important for you to trust that surrendering your heart to being loved was ultimately a gift you gave yourself. Filtering yourself serves as a prison, much like a portcullis helps to protect a castle. Filtering is understandable, given the disappointments so many have endured, and it is because you’ve endured more disappointment than joy that you were shown the areas in need of clearing. Your heart is ready to receive more joy now. Trust what you just felt.”

“Butterflies?” she asked.

“It’s been years since you’ve felt them.”

“That’s true. It’s been almost a decade.”

“Yes, it’s been longer than you anticipated, but you’ll see that the wait was worth it. Trust the process. Embrace the adventure. Freedom knows no bounds. Allow the soul’s love unwind the areas where fear and regret have bound themselves together. Unravelling knots within is something the soul perceives as an adventure. In the stillness of the mind, the totality of this knot is clearly understood. Allow the soul’s love to gently nudge and sooth the areas that feel restricted and tight. Let no one bind you to the heartache he or she has been imprisoned by. Soothe your own wounds and make healing them a priority. Doing so will gently inspire others to follow suit. No armour is needed—only amor. Love is indeed the answer and it is what the heart continues to ask for. Breathe in and surrender to the soul’s light. Freedom awaits. And so it is.”

“And so it is,” echoed the voice. “The sands of time and the times of sand work in harmony with each other. Breathe in the wisdom emanating from the ocean. You can feel its power, even without standing at the shoreline, for it is in correcting one’s stance when the tide comes in that one will also develop the ability to sense the ocean’s movement. The heart understands this flow. Embrace it.”

“And so it is,” repeated the young girl as she reached out to hold the woman’s hand.

I am a medium, scribe, intuitive healer, and Reiki Master, and have been channeling messages intended to invoke deep healing and rebalance inner archetypes since September 2001. I work mainly with the High Council, Archangels, and the Elohim. From time to time, I also receive messages from other elevated light beings, such as the Pleiadians and Andromeda, and will often receive messages directly from a person's inner child or an archetype seeking to reintegrate the soul's Light more fully.
